About the Road Management Catalog
This site is sponsored by the Transport and Rural Infrastructure Services Partnership (TRISP). TRISP-DFID/World Bank Partnership for learning and sharing knowledge.
www.road-management.info was established as a central resource for information of interest to traffic and highway engineers. It was designed to assist World Bank clients and other interested parties in obtaining information on technologies for managing road networks. It is an outcome of the World Bank’s report entitled "Data Collection Technologies for Road Management".
Vendors of equipment, software and consulting services are encouraged to enter their contact details to the site for searching by interested parties. The site is designed to have reports and technical specifications freely uploaded. This information can then be searched by potential customers to identify firms of interest. Those companies who wish to add their information to the database are required to sign up for accounts (at no cost).
This website is designed to have its data supplied and maintained by the equipment vendors. In order to keep the information current for the customers, vendors will be invited to update their information every six months. If you do not, you will be removed from the database.
